Blue Mountain Wines

As four South African friends travelling through Europe for a month who really appreciate and understand a great bottle of wine, we struggled to find a good bottle of South African wine at a reasonable price. 

On our return back to South Africa we decided to embark on a business venture and teamed up with Michael Pretorius from Contreberg Wine Farm in Darling, just outside Cape Town.

Contreberg Wine Farm have produced multiple award winning wines, and from the Contreberg vineyards there is the most majestic view of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.

With the partnership of Contreberg supplying grapes from their farm, combined with grapes from other popular regions in the Cape, and Boland Cellars to blend and bottle, Blue Mountain Wines was created. Where the mountain and the ocean meet.

Our aim with Blue Mountain Wines is to create a proudly South African easy drinking but affordable wine for the world to enjoy.
